What can still support us after relocation

Not everything from your former life disappears—and not everything has to be rebuilt in its former shape.

Relocation can change familiar relationships, professional roles, home, and everyday ways of getting things done. Experience, skills, and relationships do not necessarily disappear with the conditions that once supported them.

Ask what still sustains you now, what works only in the former setting, and what you would like to preserve in a different form. The answers may vary between work, relationships, and daily life.

Sometimes we try to rebuild the whole former infrastructure before asking what kind of life we want here. This does not mean rejecting the past. You can choose what becomes a bridge, what needs a different form, and what does not require a final decision yet.

Begin with one skill, relationship, or habit. How could it support a concrete next step in your present life? This is an invitation to explore, not a requirement to let go of everything.
