When support matters most
Sometimes the next step is not more effort, but practical help that makes the day manageable.
If even a short call or an everyday decision takes considerable effort, look at the demands as well as the task list. Support can be specific: doing something together, explaining a procedure, accompanying you, arranging a call, or creating room for a pause.
Instead of ‘Why can’t I manage as I used to?’, you might ask: ‘Which part of this task do I not have to carry alone right now?’
Choose one clear request: not ‘save me from everything’, but ‘help me understand this letter’ or ‘be available after the conversation’. These examples do not replace medical, psychological, or other professional help when needed.
